Happy Tuesday,

I hope that everyone had a great three day weekend. I was happy to have my daughter home from college.

Tomorrow you is progress report time. Your child has been informed today hoe they may come before school to make up any work they are missing. I am also here in the afternoon for tutoring or make up work. Please let me know the day before if your child will be coming in early or staying late. I will write your child a pass in order for them to come to my class before school or to stay late.

Tomorrow I will be giving everyone the opportunity to raise the geography quiz we had earlier in the year. I will take the highest score for the grade book. The quiz will be to label the five regions and to know where on the following are located on the map:Savannah River, The Fall Line, Chattahoochee River, Okefenokee Swamp, Barrier Islands, Blue Ridge Mountains, and Atlanta

This week we are staring the standard SS8H2. This standard is about how Georgia is founded and key individuals during the Colonial Time. Make sure to look under resources for SS8H2.

Homework this week is to work the three assignments on www.USAtestprep.com. These need to be completed by midnight on Friday.
